What a camp with us looks like

A fight camp isn't eight weeks of suffering — it's eight weeks of precision. Three coached sessions a week minimum: technical sparring, S&C tapered to your bout date, and skill work targeted at your actual opponent once the matchup lands.

We handle the admin too: Boxing Queensland registration, medical clearance, bout negotiation for a fair matchup at your weight and experience. You train; we organise.

Nineteen current fight-team members, thirty-eight cornered bouts, seven Queensland novice titles. We know what fight week feels like because we're still in corners every month.

How it runs

The 8-week camp breakdown

Week by week — this is exactly how we get someone ready for their first sanctioned bout.

Fighter getting hands wrapped before the bout
Week 1–2: Base & assessment

Medical, weigh-in, skill audit. We find the two things that win you the fight and the two that could lose it.

Week 3–4: Volume

Highest workload — sparring rounds stack up, S&C peaks, combos specific to your style get drilled daily.

Week 5: Matchup

Opponent confirmed. Game plan written, sparring partners picked to mirror their style.

Week 6–7: Sharpen & taper

Volume drops, intensity stays. Weight on track, timing sharp, sleep dialled.

Week 8: Fight week

Light pad work only, weigh-in, rest. We handle your corner, your wraps, your nerves.

After: Debrief

Win or lose, we review the footage a week later. Every fighter leaves camp a better boxer than they entered.

Questions

Fight camp questions

Sparring-squad members with coach sign-off. If you're not in the squad yet, start with classes — the pathway to camp usually takes 9–12 months from day one.

We guarantee a fair matchup process. If no suitable opponent exists at your weight and experience by week six, we extend or refund — we never feed you a mismatch for the record.

We pick a weight class you can make healthily and manage it through nutrition across the whole camp. Nobody here does bathtub sauna cuts — that's how fighters end up in hospital.

Three coached sessions minimum per week plus your own roadwork — realistically 6–8 hours weekly. Camp isn't compatible with 'busy month at work'.

Novice bouts are strictly regulated: headgear, 16oz gloves, standing eight counts, and a referee who stops it early if needed. Plus your opponent is a first-timer too.
